Expanded Academic ASAP (Gale Cengage Learning) is a general database with indexing for journal, magazine and newspaper articles, with many of the articles available full text.
Wilson Select Plus (FirstSearch) is a general database that contains full text articles from popular and scholarly journals and magazines.
Literary Databases (Gale) provides access to Contemporary Authors, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select, and Dictionary of Literary Biography in one database with information on the lives and writings of nearly 100,000 authors along with critical reactions to their works.
ERIC (IES) is a digital library of education-related resources, including journal and non-journal literature with some available in full text format.
Professional Development Collection (Ebsco) is designed for professional educators and provides full text articles from education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. It is the most comprehensive collection of full text education journals in the world.

TIDES
An online effort to provide access to primary resources in East Texas libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions which began by concentrating on Texas history and social studies for students in grades 4 and 7. It has since been broadened to include a wider age range for students and teachers that will utilize the site and has many science resources as well.
TIDES for Teachers
Includes lesson plans, created by teachers, to go along with the materials in the TIDES database, an online effort to provide access to primary resources in East Texas libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions. Each plan includes: grade level for the project, TEKS that are met, instructions for classroom use, as well as links to the required materials from the TIDES database.
