The Technical Services Department purchases and catalogs materials for the library, and is responsible for maintaining the library’s catalog database.
The Technical Services Department provides a thesis binding service for those completing their master's thesis or doctoral dissertation at SFA. The Graduate Office sends all copies of your completed thesis or dissertation to the department for binding and digitizing. You must first come to the library to pay the required fees for binding and digitizing services. Bring one copy of your thesis or dissertation with you so that the fees can be calculated. The Technical Services area is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday, and is located at the rear of the first floor of the library. Contact Dianne Tomlin at 468-1671 for details.
