LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that can be used to assess and improve library services. The survey, which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, includes 27 questions on users expectations for specific resources, services, and environment; demographic questions, questions about respondents' use of Steen Library, and a box for comments.

Hobbies and Interests:
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing the clarinet, and puzzling out crosswords and cryptograms. I am especially fascinated with reptiles and amphibians and partake in field herpetology when the weather suits. I love to travel and dabble in foreign languages. My goal is to be fluent in five languages before I retire. I am very interested in learning French, Russian, Welsh, and German, but for the time being I am content with working to improve my Spanish. I look forward to seeing a great deal more of the world and learning more about world history and other cultures through experience. I have visited Mexico, Wales, England, Ireland, France, and Germany and hope to see Scotland some time during the summer of 2010.

Photography:
I enjoy taking photographs during my travels.  Many of my images can be found on the TIDES database.  Please feel free to browse the following (my favorite) collections.
