LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that can be used to assess and improve library services. The survey, which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, includes 27 questions on users expectations for specific resources, services, and environment; demographic questions, questions about respondents' use of Steen Library, and a box for comments.

William Riley Davis (1886-1955) joined the faculty of Stephen F. Austin State College in 1924 as associate professor of history and education. Educated primarily at Southwest Missouri State Teachers College and Columbia University, he was a teacher, principal, and superintendent of schools before coming to SFASC. His main professional fields of interest were in teacher training, extension programs, curriculum review, and interracial education.
The unpublished manuscript of THE FOUNDATION OF TEXAS CULTURE was donated by Kenneth W. Davis, grandson of William R. Davis. The rest of the materials were transferred from the SFA Biography Files.
