Writing and
English (
WE) Program offers help with crafting your essays and mastering your English speaking skills. Bring papers on a flash drive to revise with a tutor in our Writing Lab, or rough drafts for help with organization and editing, or just your ideas!
WE tutors offer assistance for writing assignments for any class.
What We Offer
- OWL--The SFA Online Writing Lab: Chat with a tutor in real time or submit your work for review. Link to the AARC OWL at http://mycourses.sfasu.edu.
- Individual Tutoring Appointments: Meet with your very own tutor every week at the same time! Sign up on-line. To maintain an individual writing appointment, you must meet with your tutor every week. If you must cancel, call the AARC Welcome Desk: (936) 468-1439
- Walk-In Table Tutoring: Come right in! No appointment is necessary.
- English Speaking Group Tutoring: Practice and improve your English speaking skills. See the AARC Welcome Desk for an appointment.

What Writing Tutors Do

- proofread your entire paper
- fix your mistakes
- predict your grade
- tell you what to write
